Ian is a great guitar teacher! I have
tried learning many instruments in that past, but have never engaged
with any other in the same way as guitar. I always feel inspired to
practice. This is definitely at least in part due to Ian's style. We are
always learning new material, and we don't stick with a piece if I am
not enjoying practising it. Ian is happy to be guided by what the
student wants to learn, but if you're not sure what you want to learn he
is happy to suggest material as well! I thoroughly enjoy my lessons and
have gotten better at guitar than I ever imagined I would! Highly
recommend!

Great guitar teacher and guitar player.
Has seeming mastery over all idioms. As a beginner, he helped me learn
to play music in just a few short weeks. What I liked particularly about
his lessons is that had no problem focusing on my own personal taste in
music and showed me how to play the riffs I love as well as how to
master chord changes. What more can I say ? Can’t recommend him highly
enough.
